DIRECTIONS & LOCATION:

From Syracuse, NY:
Take Route 81 North to exit 34, NY- 104 exit.
Turn RIGHT onto NY-104, heading northeast for 9.6 miles until you reach intersection of Route 13.
Turn RIGHT onto NY-13, heading east for 6.8 miles
You will pass through the town of Williamstown.
Cross into Oneida County Line.
Slow down when you see the "Town of Camden" sign.
After 2 curves, Gifford Lake Guest House is on left hand side.
You will see a brown garage with green trim along with our sign.
Proceed down driveway and check in at front door of the main house with office sign.


From Oswego, NY:
Take Route 104, heading northeast passing through the towns of Mexico and Maple View until you reach the intersection of Route 104 and Route 13.
Take Right onto Route 13, heading east for 6.8 miles.
You will pass through the town of Williamstown.
Cross into Oneida County Line.
Slow down when you see the "Town of Camden" sign.
After a series of curves, Gifford Lake Guest House is on left hand side.
You will see a brown garage with green trim along with our sign.
Proceed down driveway and check in at front door of the main house with office sign.


From Watertown, NY:
Take Route 81 South. For 30 miles to exit #36, Pulaski exit.
Turn LEFT onto Richland Road for 0.1 mile (1/10th mile)
Turn RIGHT onto County Route 2A for 2.1 miles until you reach intersection of Route 13.
Turn LEFT on Route 13, heading East for 16.9 miles
You will pass through the town of Williamstown.
Cross into Oneida County Line.
Slow down when you see the "Town of Camden" sign.
After a series of curves, Gifford Lake Guest House is on left hand side.

Proceed down driveway and check in at front door of the main house with office sign.

From Rome, NY:
Take Route 69 West for 15.6 miles heading to Camden until you reach intersection of Route 13.
Take RIGHT on Route 13 heading West for 6 miles.
You will pass through the small community of Westdale.
Cross small bridge over Fish Creek and slow down.
Gifford Lake Guest House is on your RIGHT.
You will see a brown garage with green trim along with our sign.
Proceed down driveway and check in at front door of the main house with office sign.


GIFFORD LAKE Guest House is conveniently located on State Route 13, in between Camden and Williamstown, New York. We are located on a direct route to the Salmon River in Pulaski, New York, the salmon fishing capital of the northeast. You can be on the Salmon River is just 15-20 minutes. (Approximately 12-17 miles to convenient parking areas.) We are 30 minutes from Lake Ontario, 20 Minutes from Oneida Lake and Sylvan Beach, and 90 minutes from Old Forge and the Adirondack Mountains.

Our location is very private. There are only two houses located on Gifford Lake which is our home and the guest house. You will have no neighbors except for us. (And we are quiet). We are the closest you can get to having your own lake in New York!

OUR POLICIES:

MINIMUM STAY: 2 nights. 5 night minimum stay required for July & August reservations.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION:
Reservations require a $100.00 deposit within 14 days of booking to confirm. Payment in full is due upon check in. (Deposit is credited to balance due.)

Cancellation requires a 14 day advance notice to receive deposit refund.

We do not require a security deposit at this time, except for stays over 30 days.


Fishing, swimming, and boating are available. All are at your own risk. All guests and visitors are required to sign a waiver of liability prior to participating in the activities.


Children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while outside and swimming. Please, be cautious around the water and dock. No running on the dock or diving from the dock is allowed.


Daily housekeeping in not included. Guests staying longer than 7 nights will receive fresh linens mid-stay along with a touch up cleaning.

The house is equipped with an ample supply of linens, dinnerware, tableware, glassware, cookware, and cooking utensils.

SMOKING: We prefer that you smoke outside of the cottage. Absolutely, no smoking is allowed in the bedrooms. For guests that do not follow these rules, a substantial cleaning fee may be applied to your bill.


Visa and Mastercard are accepted.


CHECK IN: 3:00 pm or after.
CHECK OUT: 12:00pm.
We regret that we cannot offer early check-in or late check-out due to our heavily booked season. The intervening time is necessary to properly prepare and clean the cottage for our next guests.


PETS:
We may allow one small well-behaved pet upon prior approval with an additional fee. For larger pets, we do offer boarding kennels on our property for a fee of $15.00 per day. Fee includes walking and feeding. You may bring your pet down to the yard, but they must be on a leash at all times. We also have pets on the premises, however, they remain on leashes or runners during your stay. Guests with pets are required to check out by 11:00 a.m. to allow for additional cleaning time.

VISITORS:
We are a privately owned property therefore, we do have limitations on the volume and amount of day visitors that you invite. (No large parties allowed without prior approval). The full policy regarding visitors is available by request and is listed in our guide book in the guest house.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT & OCCUPANCY:
We only rent to adult guests that represent themselves to be 23 years of age or older, their families and/or companions. No teen or college groups are allowed, even if they are chaperoned by adults. NO EXCEPTIONS

WHAT WE SUPPLY:
The house is equipped and set up as a fully furnished property that includes bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, bath towels, some games, toilet paper, coffee filters, trash bags, TV, DVD player, VCR, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. (No dishwasher). We include a starter set of regular coffee, popcorn, shampoo, soap and paper towels. Food or meals are not included.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Your personal toiletry items with an additional supply of paper towels and maybe your favorite coffee. We also recommend napkins, paper plates, paper cups, beach towels, sun block, OFF or other brand of mosquito repellent for hiking, evenings and for canoeing through the river. You will also need to bring your food.

For families with an infant, you may wish to bring a crib or playpen for the child to sleep in.
